Bedouin Dinner

We all had a lovely meal at the Bedoiun restaurant in Charminster the other week. Great food and great company (as always).

The New Beehive

Although this was supposed to be a pub visit pretty much everyone ended up eating… it has been noted that a lot of our activities seem to revolve around food.

And it was nice to welcome some Information Support Workers for Parkinson’s who came too.

Considering the pub was actually a hotel, the food was reasonably price and quite nice. Service was a bit odd though – they only told one of our party that they were out of her meal just when we were all expecting to be served our main courses…

I say “pub” you say “quiz”, PUB…

In January a small group of us went to the Fleetsbridge for the carvery dinner and their pub quiz. We didn’t win this time, but had a respectable score.

Escoffier Restaurant in November

In November the group went to the Escoffier Restaurant at the Lansdowne College for a lovely meal.

The purpose of the restaurant is for the students of the college to practice the skills they’re learning on their course – from the chef cooking to the waiters and waitresses practicing their table manners.
